Princeton senior Laura Zhang ’26 has been named a recipient of the Daniel M. Sachs Class of 1960 Graduating Scholarship. The scholarship, one of the University’s highest awards, is intended to broaden the global experience of its recipients by providing them with the opportunity to study, work or travel abroad after graduation.
Zhang, of Sydney, Australia, is majoring in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. She is pursuing minors in humanistic studies and European studies, and a certificate in history and the practice of diplomacy.
She is also a member of the Behrman Undergraduate Society of Fellows (BUSF). Housed in the Humanities Council’s Program in Humanistic Studies, the BUSF brings together juniors and seniors committed to the study of humanistic inquiry. She also serves as a mentor for the Humanities Council’s Program in Humanistic Studies, where she helps build community
As a Sachs Scholar at Worcester College, University of Oxford, she plans to earn an MSc in criminology and criminal justice and an MSc in refugee and forced migration studies.
