Wendy Heller specializes in the music of the seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries, with emphasis on the study of opera from interdisciplinary perspectives, particularly gender and sexuality, dance, art history, and the classical tradition.
Heller will be c0-teaching a Spring 2025 course with Andrew Feldherr and she previously taught HUM 470, Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities, Abandoned Women in the Fall of 2021.
