Why I decided to study the humanities:
The rigorous in-depth nature of the study of humanities has helped me hone my critical thinking and analytical skills. But more importantly, the study of the humanities has helped me contextualize human history and the state of contemporary society today. It has inspired me to find my place in the world of ideas and to continue my pursuit of understanding the broader world around me.
