Why I decided to study the humanities:

To acquaint myself with meaningful intellectual traditions and to engage my reflective energies.

What I have gained from the humanities:

I have gained excellent friends, some rhetorical abilities, and little of commercial value.

Independent work:

My senior thesis will explore the conflict in legal philosophy between natural law theory and legal positivism.
