Esther Schor earned her BA in English and Music and Ph.D. in English from Yale, with a couple of years’ work in publishing in between. At Princeton, her courses revolve around two centers: British Romanticism; and Literature, Scripture and Religion.
Schor will be teaching HUM 218/219, Interdisciplinary Approaches to Western Culture II: Literature and the Arts, History, Philosophy, and Religion in the Spring of 2022. She previously co-taught HUM 470, Witness, in the Spring of 2018 with Martha Sandweiss. She is also the Inaugural Behrman Professor in the Humanities.
