Why I decided to study the humanities
I decided to study the humanities in order to have a complete education. Knowledge of what does it mean to be a human being, and engagement in the ideas and beauty of the liberating arts is a necessary compliment to scientific knowledge.
What I have gained from studying the humanities:
Studying the humanities, I have gained important insights and understanding of the ‘big picture’ ideas regarding nature human nature — the consistency and changes in anthropology throughout time — and the world.
