What I have gained from studying the Humanities:

Studying the humanities at Princeton has taught me to value detailed work: I’ve started searching for the significance in each word of a text and in each stroke of a painting. In turn, music, drawings, scriptural texts, conversations, and books have come to life as I’ve learned to approach everything with a more appreciative and critical perspective. Above all, I’ve enjoyed the serious and light-hearted conversations about faith and religion that have stemmed from the study of humanities.
