What I have gained from studying the Humanities:

Studying the humanities at Princeton has pushed me to think more deeply and critically about the human experience across time periods and national borders. I have especially enjoyed exploring connections between disciplinary fields, contextualizing ideas from literature, history, philosophy, and more. From concrete skills in close reading and analysis to intangible values like empathy and community, I have and continue to gain so much from the humanities.
